Environment
Our love for nature inspires us every day to actively push forward sustainable developments within the company. Our efforts span a wide range of initiatives from systematically reducing our energy consumption, building modern machines and systems to promoting recycling and waste avoidance.
All our company buildings are insulated to the latest standards and are almost exclusively cooled or heated with groundwater. By largely avoiding the use of fossil fuels, having our own photovoltaic systems and using hydroelectric power based on Swiss green electricity, we reduce emissions and our carbon footprint significantly.
All of this reflects our active contribution to protecting and preserving our environment and highlights our commitment to a greener future for all.

Machines
We make our greatest contribution to sustainability through our machines: for decades, we have been following the requests and instructions of our customers to maximize the efficiency of our machines in every aspect. This is not just about machine availability and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency), where we are proven leaders The optimal use of packaging materials, the prevention of product waste, and the elimination of rejects also make Rychiger machines more sustainable than others.
Additionally, we place the utmost attention on reducing the consumption of resources such as air and nitrogen. Especially in processes like coffee packaging under a protective atmosphere, energy consumption can be significantly reduced. Rychiger has been addressing these challenges for decades. Moreover, our machines are designed to be nearly fully recyclable.
